Kellar-Long, Nate

Hi!  My name is Nathan Kellar-Long (I'm the one on the left) and I am happy to be joining Randolph Heights. I received my undergraduate degree at Macalester College and my masters at the University of St. Thomas. I live in the neighborhood and love St. Paul.  I have been teaching for many years in the St. Paul School District, mostly in fourth grade. I have also taught in India and Costa Rica.

I'm excited to teach second graders. They are curious about school and the world, and they are developing the skills to act on that curiosity. I look forward to challenging my students and fostering a love of learning.

While not at school I enjoy travelling with my wife, or attending Minnesota Orchestra concerts where she works. I also enjoy watching my son perform in circus and running with my daughter and our two dogs. I love reading good books and watching Timberwolves basketball.
