Tour SPPS employees traveled to France to compete in International Dragon Boat races. Most importantly, the 4,500 person event was comprised of breast cancer survivors from 32 countries.
The Dragon Divas earned a fourth place medal - losing to the first place team by just more than a second.
The team consisted of many survivors, including Randolph Heights teacher Elizabeth Simmer, retired teacher Kris Bunnell, former teachers Meredith Leary Johnson and Christine Houstman.
Shown with the Dragon is current Randolph Heights teacher Elizabeth Simmer.
